Hola pippa,

not "bricolaje"

it was on a tebeo "Cuestion de tiempo", an old comic book by Juan Gimenez.

it was the 1st chapter title, and also in the text
"despues de todo el bricolage dio resultado"

According to the RAE:
La palabra bricolage no está registrada en el Diccionario. Las que se muestran a continuación tienen una escritura cercana.
But, in the Oxford Spanish Dictionary:
bricolaje, bricolage masculino do-it-yourself, DIY

Could it have a meaning in the way of renovation or repair?
It is very common to confuse g and j sometimes in Spanish, particularly if they can have the same sound. It also happens with b and v. It is also bricolage in catalan (one of the languages in Spain), But Juan Gimenez is from Argentina, so I am not sure...
Curiously, there are two surnames in Spanish, Gimenez and Jimenez, both sounding exactly the same. (Just to give you an example of J and G)
