¿Estas segura?

Niza
Niza (en francés Nice [nis], en occitano Nissa o Niça, en italiano Nizza) es una ciudad y comuna francesa situada en el departamento de Alpes Marítimos, en la región de Provenza-Alpes-Costa Azul.

No está bien. Podemos entender que estás aprendiendo, entonces, nice sería amable o simpático/a, como sea esa persona. Since you're learnin, No, it's fine, We can understand that you're learning, so, nice would be ... o ..., as that person may be. Oh and z wouldn't be an s if you're learning castellano español, it would be pronounced more or less neethah. laters.

One more thing I forgot to add: if niza was a word, it'd be amigo nizo and amiga niza. And since you need a new dictionary, I recommend the Merriam-webster's spanish-english dictionary and the university of chicago's spanish-english dictionary, more the Chicago University one because it has more info on words and usages from spain, since I'm assuming that you are learning our dialect, soon to be yours i guess. Anyways good luck, buena suerte, bonne chance, Glück, etc.

Well, it does in my Collins English-Spanish dictionary.
Perfect example that we should check more than just the word in the dictionary. My Collins gives "Niza nf". So it's a noun, not an adjective. It's the place, not the compliment. The OP would not have had the confusion if he had read further.
