me he pasado mucho tiempo en querer preguntar una pregunta tonta... los que suben las fotos, ellos las tomaron todos?? Es que no sé si las suben aquí para que las veamos o no. Por cierto, me molan. Ojalá yo pudiera tomar tan buenas fotos

With Skeggie, it's more like sticky rock than rock and roll.

That's fenoll (English: fennel, Spanish: hinojo), one of the three herbs used when making absinthe. Tastes (and smells) like anise. I've seen some of those plants grow up to 2.5 metres tall (that's ~8 feet).

and these beehives I photographed using the zoom!!! There were a lot of bees around & I bet the honey from the wild flowers will be something special.
I think they're making mel de romer, a high-quality honey that smells like rosemary.

We were going to go walking in the Peak District, but decided that we wanted seaside fish and chips, so the East Coast was called for. It's years since myself and my wife had been, but we were actually impressed with Skeg (it was April, so it was fairly quiet, and the beach was deserted 'cos it was FREEZING!), it was rather better than we both remembered it. Ingoldmells though, that really was a toilet...

I know both places well and agree with that comment. More pictures of Skeggie to bring back some memories? I may never go there again now.

More Skeg pix? I'm sure I can oblige. Will have to wait while I get home though, I really shouldn't be here while I'm at work!

Default San Antonio de la Florida

Here you are a few photos from the Madrid fiesta yesterday in San Antonio de la Florida.
He is the patron of the seamstresses and traditionally they would go to the Ermita de San Antonio de la Florida (worth seeing, with frescoes by Goya) and put their hand on a pile of pins, and as many as they would have stuck on their hand that would be the number of boyfriends they would have that year. Now that has been extended to any girl who is single. Unfortunally I did not take a photo of the massive queue that there was to do this, but I can show you some madrileños and madrileñas in their traditional dress. As you can see, not all of them are young!
