Default The Green Ways

A couple of weeks ago I helped a student prepare an English presentation on the "Vias Verdes". (I actually thought she was going to talk about dirty old men - viejos verdes!)

The Vias Verdes is actually a wonderful way to recycle old railways tracks to enable us to get out and see more of the beautiful Spanish countryside.

This is the web site: http://www.viasverdes.com/

Get out the cycle or walking boots and enjoy

In June I cycled with explore.co.uk in Catalonia from Ripoll to Sant Feliu de Guixos on the coast via Girona (lovely place) using one of the Greenways, the Ruta del Carrilet.

Great stuff.
