Default Visiting Panamá

on the 20th of July I will be leaving to Panamá to stay there for a month para mejorar mi español. i was wondering if anyone had any tips about what to bring or prepare for, for my month long stay. maybe any advice that may help to adapt to the climate or atmosphere.

Everything would be greatly appreciated!

Aquí hay algunas ideas:

* Ropa ligera
* Repelente de mosquitos
* Solución de azúcar y sal (ORS en inglés) para combatir los problemas intestinales; se puede comprarlo en las farmacias

* Un diccionario E-S y S-E
* Cuadernos

Are you going to Panama city? It's sweltering, noisy, chaotic, exhausting and exciting. I was there for a few days during a 3 month trip around Central America. I must admit I wasn't too keen on it at the time but it was definitely an experience. If you are heading away from the capital, there is a great place called Boqueta (not sure about the spelling).It's quiet but really beatiful and there are some wonderful walks up in the hills if that's your thing. It's a great country if you look nature and the outdoor life. Even if you're not, the people are friendly and fun.

I will definitely be taking a camera with me. in fact, I just purchased one for the trip. and no I will not be in Panama City, but ironically, the place that I will be staying for the month that I am there is Boquete, just like you suggested Dilano. good call!

I am really looking forward to this experience, though not sure what to expect.
