It's not my photo, but amazing and well worth sharing.
Goodness knows what type of camera this guy owns, but it must be top of the range!

I'll join in since I love photography as well.

The first one is from a hike with my younger son. The second one is from another hike and the third one was the view from our first house that my husband and I bought together.

I'm proud of the next one for the simple reason that it's a 1 second hand held exposure - took 5 goes, and holding breath like mad! Noise Ninja reduced noise from 1600 asa shot:

Below, the way to the River, near my parents' house.

The next one was taken in Oxford's Natutal History Museum, somewhere I hadn't been since I was about 8, to draw Dinosaurs with my school. Serious nostalgia trip! It's a wonderful buidling - looks like a railway station, and smells of mothballs!

Back soon with pics from Spain!
I'm really enjoying the photos! Keep 'em coming!

I don't spend much time shooting them at all! Just see something I like and reel off a few shots. Whenever I try to improve on the first take, by shooting the same thing several times, it's always the first that is the best!

Some shots I do play around with later in photoshop or, now, Aperture. With this one for example, which I took in the park earlier, I boosted the colour and contrast - took about a minute of fiddling:

For some reason I keep coming back to this one. The echoing of the lines, the vibrant colors... great shot!

Maybe I'm just mean, but I would have loved to have taken a second photo after standing up and saying... "Kids, you know what, I'm not hungry, let's go".

I love that pine tree! It reminds me of a classical Japanese watercolor.
