Default What's England like?

I may be going to England in the near future for like 6 months. I'll know more details pretty soon.

I think what you meant to say was: "I like the airports and pubs".

Solihull or Leeds? May God (or whoever else is in charge) grace you with Leeds.

I went to University there, great city.

As I know more, I'll keep you posted, otherwise, I still have to be approved by the client, the NHS.

I spent a week in Solihull on a course a few years back. Seemed OK. Thankfully low on Yorkshiremen.

City of my birth and a great night out, close to magnificent scenery of the Dales and the Wolds and the coast (70 miles). Teeming with Yorkshiremen so pretty good. Yorkshire is a bit like Catalunya - part of the UK that thinks its independent. Leeds is the first city of the region and a prety affluent town - We have the other Harvey Nicks.

I think if I could chose I'd plump for Leeds - loads of apartments available near the centre, real Tetleys bitter (not the stuff they make in Warrington or Burton), a spanish group that meets twice a month and of course I could be easily available for the occasional evening out...

For instance, the difference between greater London, the Channel Islands and Bodmin Moor - last Wednesday I saw a program about some lonely guys living in the Bodmin area - surely this must be one of the spookiest places in Europe!

Huuu... huuu (tawny owl calling in the night)

You'll find it very enjoyable working for an IT supplier for the NHS. It's like living in a real life sit-com.
