RE Catalans and Jews: the discussion on this blog reminds me of another stereotype. Our Spanish teacher at the Cervantes Institute in Utrecht told us about a stereotype concerning Galicians. According to the stereotype, a Galician is supposed to answer a question by raising more questions. This is also a Jewish intellectual stereotype.
